Sunday 3rd. December

Exploring Heraldry

Dame Ann Hercus

Medieval heraldry has been called “the shorthand of history” because of the way the clear bright symbols on armour, banners, and horse covers could be recognised at a distance. Dame Ann Hercus is the co-author [with her husband John] of a recently published book which in part explores the medieval coat of arms of their family and the rules about modern usage. This book is available for sale at the meeting at the special discounted price of $20.

This meeting is to be held in the Sunday School Hall

Cnr. Cotswold Ave & Kingrove Street  2pm.  There will be a $3 entry.

As this is the last meeting for the year, members are asked to bring a small christmas afternoon tea plate.
